Check the label on the can of color for the correct ratio and hardener numbers . If the lower door is your only problem why not just respray the door to the side mldg just above the handle . Before I sprayed I wiped the panel with 70% rubbing alcohol. The fisheyes/solvent pop didn't show up until an hour or two after the last coat. I sanded down the panel with 220 and some of the craters are fairly deep but non of them go to the primer. Could it be oil in the air section of the gun?pre-formulated flat/mat clears are SOOOOOOOOO much easier on bigger jobs and all overs. all you do is mix and go. you can adjust the flatness by how many coats and reducer, again so much easier than a flattening ratio with an additive. i've done a few with sikkens mat clear with no problems, now give me a 2 component system where i have to mix some single stage and flattener in it and i cant ...Single Stage Topcoat ; Thinner ; ... I have a car that was sprayed last September with Nason Ful-Thane single stage urethane (solid color). It has been stored inside since being painted. The paint job came out glassy smooth but I have some dirt and dust nibs in the paint. My question is what grit should I sand it with to remove the nibs.we were going to use the Nason ful-thane , but our supplier suggested the Imron. I was amazed at how well it sprayed. You can plow that stuff on & it will not run. Im seriously thinking about using it when I do my truck. you can even get it in Flat, Semigloss, or regular gloss.
